We had a very large ash tree that was in a tricky spot near our deck and overhanging part of the neighbor’s roof. Hector and the crew at Genesis Tree Service did a fantastic job taking it down with their expert climbers, lowering the branches safely and without damaging anything below. It was a big job, but they worked tirelessly all day and got it done. We also appreciated that they were able to do it without bringing heavy equipment into the yard. They cleaned everything up and hauled it away, leaving just a stump flush to the ground, which they’ll be back to grind in the spring. Communication was great, they were quick to respond and on time with both the quote and the work. We were very impressed with Genesis Tree Service and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone! Hector and his crew are top notch professional tree service contractors. They have been our preferred tree service contractor for both our home and cottage properties. We recently had them remove all the dead branches over a new garage we built. Their tree climbers went to the top of this 100 foot 100 year old oak tree and carefully cut and lowered each branch down with ropes so they wouldn’t damage the roof. Amazing skills. Hector and his crew did an excellent job at a very fair price. I highly recommend them. They removed several trees, ground the stumps, and cleaned up some of my trees to help growth. When they were finished they made the ground look as if they were never there!

We had a 90 foot tall ash tree that had to be cut down. It had huge branches going over both our and our neighbor’s houses. The job required someone that could do it without big machinery as there was no room.
It was amazing to watch how skilled the man was climbing and safely lowering the logs he had cut. My heart was pounding when he got to the last branch on the top! All the while the rest of the team on the bottom helped lower the logs and branches to where they wanted them. They had a chipper for the branches and piled up the logs to be hauled away. After cleanup, it looked better than before!
We will always recommend Genesis to anyone who needs tree removal or trimming!
Note: Hector (the owner) always listened and tried his hardest to give us exactly what we wanted. I say this because we also used his team to do some retaining walls around the patio at the bottom of the hill and our basement. It took a bit to get the desired results, but we are more than happy.

They trimmed a large tree and took down 3 others, and left our back yard so clean you would never have known they were even there! Very professional and competent.
